Sand Hollow Golf Course has its own standard for unique course design.
Located in the heart of the Hurricane Valley, Sand Hollow Resort is award-winning and awe-inspiring. The red sands of the scenery and immaculately maintained red-sand bunkers contrast nicely with the manicured green fairways. It’s a links-style golf course, set in the sand dunes and among cliffs’ edges, with a beautiful mountain-filled backdrop featuring Zion National Park. Sand Hollow offers an especially unique golf experience beginning at hole 12, though; you play along the side of a cliff.
Hole 13 is a short par-4, creating a high-risk, yet high-reward situation. Golfers can lay up short of the bunker, or the bold can attempt a drive all the way to the green. The cliffs on either side add to the challenge both literally and psychologically.
Hole 14 follows quickly after. Requiring a long drive down a steep hill, golfers can expect plenty of flowing undulation. Those who can balance their swing between strong and precise appropriately are rewarded with a stunning view.

The final signature hole on this impressive row of spectacular play is Hole 15. It is a unique par-3, touting a tee box many know as “The Devil’s Throat.” Named for the intense challenge that contradicts the serene views, the tee box of this hole is set between two rock formations. The tunnel of natural beauty creates a telescopic effect, focusing on the captivating view ahead, while immersing golfers in the very same scenery they admire.
An onsite restaurant offers full meals or at-the-turn snacks and beverages. The Grille at Sand Hollow Resort is an excellent onsite restaurant. With its wide variety of culinary offerings, it is the perfect (and most convenient) option to prepare for or replenish from a nice round of golf at Sand Hollow.

Sand Hollow Resort offers the perfect stay-and-play pairing, where you can take in golf, hop on an ATV to explore the nearby dunes of Sand Hollow State Park, or take to the water of the park’s reservoir.
